Khaki and Polka Dots

Capris: Thrifted | Top: Thrifted & DIY-ed
Tank Top Under Shirt: Walmart | Necklace: Thrifted

Um.. I did iron my capris today, I promise. ...Along with stripes, I love polka dots too! But this is probably the only polka dot piece I own.. and it was a DIY project I did last year. You can see the tutorial here on my crafting/decorating blog. I'd love to do some more DIY polka dotted clothing projects! I'm always getting ideas from Pinterest (where else, of course!?).

If you haven't noticed by now, I practically live in this pair of flip flops. They're so ratty and thin, but just so comfy and broken in.. and easy too. I'm a total flip flop girl. Born and raised in California, wearing flip flops pretty much all year around! .. But here in Canada I only have a limited time to wear them. So I wear them as much as I possibly can! .. Plus in the summer I just really can't stand to have my feet in closed shoes. My toesies like to breeeeathe!

Baby's kicks and movements are getting stronger and stronger. Hubby finally felt his kicks a couple of weeks ago, and has been able to feel him several times this week as well. It's so exciting! He's very active for about 5 to 10 minutes when I lay down for bed at night and that's when he kicks his strongest kicks. We read our little nightly devotional when we first get into bed and Hubby keeps his hand on my tummy when I read. Not sure if it's my voice that gets him really going sometimes or just the fact that I'm laying down. Either way, we love it like crazy! .. I've been trying to get his kicks on video, but every time I grab the camera he seems to settle down... ha.

And how are all my pregnant friends doing?? I know I have several followers that are pregnant right now. Feel free to leave a comment, sharing some of your own "baby excitement." I'd love to hear!! : )
